SmythCast founded by artist and all-round good guy Ned Jackson Smyth.

After working in the realm of public artwork for the last 20+ years I decided to create a foundry /workshop/ studio that would serve a growing need of the artist, after some time it developed to working with designers and the general public. 

While working on my own projects, I started to engage using my skills gained over the years and got involved with other colleagues’ projects working in the roll as artisan. 

Evolving out of this, the next stage was working with the public, we were approached with individuals’ ideas and concepts from hardware furnishings for their new kitchen fittings, railings and restoration work.

This involves a partnership approach and using are skills of engineering and visual art gives us at SmythCast a holistic approach to all projects and jobs whatever the size. 

From this diversity of work, we have now started developing our own products and to selling online.
